Background

ASSASSINS is the odd story about nine individuals who over time have attempted to assassinate the President of the United States. The show explores the inner motives of each assassin. Eventually, each individual must confront the fact that committing the ultimate crime failed to assuage their personal problems. In the end, the assassins return in 1963 to convince Lee Harvey Oswald to shoot President Kennedy. They hold firm to their delusion that Oswald is a Savior who can justify the assassins' actions.
